¶ # 1. Adjust the device to point north
Point the tripod roughly at:
Due north direction (Northern Hemisphere)
or:
Due south (southern hemisphere)

Unscrew:
- latitude adjustment knob (up and down adjustment)
- Azimuth adjustment knob (left and right adjustment)
Make a rough adjustment.
